Behāv was founded in December 2022 from a PhD thesis presentation on Applications of Affect Theory.

A semester later, I dropped out again (x2) and brought the ethos of my behavioral research into digital form to study vices based on location through Ball State’s Entrepreneurial Computer Science Program in 2023-24.

Later in 2024, I made another version of Behāv to study habits and behavior trends based on location and environmental barriers with the creation of mendoku.tech having the app in IOS and Google Play stores.

In 2025, after rejection and reflection, I realized people didn’t want another digital resource separate from their daily inventory of tech. Instead, I rebuilt Behāv to be primarily map-centric and compete with Google and Apple maps to redefine space, time, and relationships for everyone who wants it. Everyone needs a map to know where they are and where they’re going. But the real questions are, why are you where you are? And should you be going somewhere not in your best interest? With this new version, I created the world’s first Emotional Dynamic Landscape (EDL), and Map Snapshot Analysis feature.

To celebrate Behāv’s rebuild and rebrand on analyzing contextual space, MAPS THAT CARE was created to create a paradigm shift in seeking awareness over destination, shared purpose over route, and the independence to navigate life thoughtfully.

MAPS THAT CARE, Behāv was nationally released on May 5, 2025 at NATCON25, the largest conference in mental health and substance use.

To be continued :)
